Missions & Outreach

Shiloh believes the Good News about Jesus should be proclaimed to all nations. The congregation serves as primary sponsor for several overseas missionary families, most of whom are administered by Rosedale Mennonite Missions.  Additionally Shiloh members are involved in various local outreach ventures.

  • The 4th Sunday of each month, the entire offering during the Sunday morning worship service goes towards missions. A 3-member committee develops a budget for local and overseas mission work that is funded by these offerings. Additionally this committee works to provide ongoing mission vision for the congregation.
  • Shiloh’s small groups take turns providing a meal each month for those in need in the London area. This meal is distributed through the H.E.L.P. House ministry in London.
  • Shiloh partners with other local churches in the Plain City Church Fellowship to reach out in our community. This includes the Plain City Food Pantry and DNA ministry which provide food and other goods for those in need, an outreach to children at several local mobile home parks, an annual Be the Church event which provides assistance of all kinds to those in need, a weekly free medical clinic, a weekly prayer breakfast for students, and more.
