Elder Ballots
Ballots regarding the new elder are in your mailboxes. Please complete these ballots and return them to the ballot mailbox (top right mailbox) by Sunday, October 21. The nominees are Mark Troyer and Rod Yoder. Keith Beachy and Scott Spires are also on the elder team. Nathan Miller’s term ends December 31, 2018.

Communion Next Sunday
Plans are to celebrate communion next Sunday morning, October 28. We will also be receiving an alms offering which is used to help those who find themselves in unexpected financial need. Spend time this week in prayer and reflection, preparing your heart for this service.

Church Directories
Printed copies of the church directory are now available. If you would like a copy, you may pick one up at the Welcome Center in the lobby. You can also install the free Instant Church Directory App on your Android or Apple device. You will need to enter your email that is listed in the directory and create a password before you are able to download the directory

Next Sunday Offering
The offering for Sunday has been designated for our pastors. Come prepared to give and show your appreciation for their ministry to our church.

Fall Party
The pumpkins are ripening, the harvest is beginning and the time for the annual Fall Party is here! Come gather around the fire at Shiloh on Sunday, October 21. Those wishing to enter the chili cook-off should have their soup here at 5:00 p.m. Those who don’t bring chili should bring side dishes and desserts. Eating will begin at 6:00 p.m. Bring yard games to play and lawn chairs to sit around the fire. There will also be a hayride.

Comfort Knotting
The Sewing Circle is planning for an all-church comfort knotting sometime in November. More details will be coming soon.

DNA Annual Banquet
The DNA Community Center will be having its annual banquet on Tuesday, October 30, 6:30 p.m. at the DNA Community Center in Plain City. Our God is the God who speaks life and light into places of darkness and says, "Let It Be!" He is doing that through DNA and you are invited to come and hear where God is leading. Apple Pies for the Holidays
The Spanish III class from Shekinah is selling delicious Dutch Apple Pies to raise funds for their Spanish trip next Spring. These pies are made-from-scratch, unbaked, and can be frozen. Order forms were placed in your mailbox or you can sign up at the Welcome Center. Pies are $12 each and will be made on Saturday, November 10.

Box Offering
The October box offering is for the Ecuador building project. The Mennonite churches in Ecuador are building a campsite that will be used for their annual retreats. Box offering to date is $688.
