CHILDREN’S
MINISTRY

Shiloh is blessed with many children! We are rich in this precious commodity and provide engaging programs and Biblical instruction for our children.

Nursery – A staffed nursery is provided for children ages 0-3 during the worship service on Sunday morning. There is also a quiet nursery for nursing mothers and sleeping infants.

Kids Church – Kids Church is offered on the first and third Sunday of each month for children ages 4-10 during the Sunday morning sermon. This is a time when adult leaders engage kids in interactive Bible teaching and hands-on projects to help solidify the lesson. Currently Kid’s Church leaders are following God’s Word, Guide to the Treasure curriculum, a systematic plan of study that uses the Bible as the treasure map that leads to the priceless treasure, Jesus!

Sunday School –Sunday School classes are offered for children from preschool through high school. Our teachers embrace their role of establishing a solid biblical foundation. This is a time when teachers assist children and youth to know and understand the magnitude of Jesus’ love for each one.

Vacation Bible School – VBS is a time of lively, interactive Bible teaching for children. Students are given opportunity to participate in a Bible story, craft, games and snack throughout each evening. VBS usually happens the last week in June and sessions are held for four consecutive evenings.

YOUTH
MINISTRY

The high school years are the years when young people start thinking about the future and direction. Our youth group meets every week with the goal of making disciples and helping every young person in our group to grow in their love of God. We meet every Wednesday at homes of church members where we study the Bible, play games, eat snacks and get to know each other better. Once a month we have a social event separate from the Wednesday night Bible studies. Every year we have a summer missions trip with every other year being an international trip. We love to have fun playing games, engaging in all sorts of conversations, praying together, growing friendships and most importantly helping each other grow in our love of Christ.
